Welcome to the What You Expect Panel!

The What You Expect panel was launched in 2020 and is currently running in 11 countries: Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal and Spain. Around 70,000 members have joined to date. Ipsos actively recruits panel members for the What You Expect panel through a variety of channels: telephone, online and social media. The panel is restricted to people aged 18 and over, living in the above countries. The panel consists of European citizens willing to help us investigate how people think about issues such as prices in general, the price of houses, the economy in general and what they expect for the future. Panel members are invited to complete a 20-30 minute survey once a month. Part of the survey is repeated each month to provide trend data over time. In return for completing the survey, panel members receive points that can be exchanged for gift vouchers in many different categories (full list available here) or donated to charity. Panel members are free to choose which monthly surveys they participate in and can leave the panel membership at any point in time. A dedicated helpdesk is available for any queries panel members might have while participating.
